Brazilian attacker Willian has indicated that he is happy at Chelsea despite the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid. The 29-year-old has been constantly tipped for a Blues exit since the close of last season but he appears primed to remain at Stamford Bridge ahead of the club’s maiden campaign under Maurizio Sarri.
Speaking after Chelsea’s Community Shield defeat, Willian said: “I’m happy here, I’m happy at Chelsea to play here. I’m looking forward to playing well and to win titles. I feel good. I feel good after three days of training, of course I am not my best performance, my best condition. But to play this kind of games is very important and I play, I think, 35 minutes which is good for me to keep improving. And we have to look forward because we have a great season to play and we’re going to try to win some titles.”
